Job summary

Qualifications

• CPI training is preferred or obtained prior to completion of orientation.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for the above requirements.

Responsibilities

• Renders nursing care to patients within an assigned unit of the hospital.
• Documents all care provided in the Electronic Health Record, including vital signs, intake/output, mobility, pain and skin abnormalities.
• Reports changes in patient condition to the primary RN or charge RN.
• Assists with activities of daily living and maintains patient comfort and safety.
• Performs basic nursing tasks and uses equipment safely under appropriate competencies.
