Job summary

Concord Hospital Health System is seeking a Licensed Nursing Assistant to provide direct and indirect patient care under the guidance of the Director and/or Nurse Manager on the unit or department.

The role requires an LNA education certificate, NH Board competency testing, BLS certification, and NH LNA licensure. Duties include daily living activities, documentation, and ensuring safe patient handling with RN supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• LNA Education Certificate and competency testing results required by NH Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Performs activities of daily living and personal care under RN supervision.
• Performs technical skills/procedures related to physical, mental health and social needs under RN supervision.
• Documents care provided and reports RN with observations and data collected.
• Adheres to safe patient handling policy.
• Demonstrates time management skills.
• Maintains patient care areas for cleanliness, safety and supplies.
• Receives delegated work adhering to the five rights of delegation.
• Performs job-specific requirements and other duties as assigned.
• Serves as a preceptor for new employees.
