Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required/preferred.
• Proof of LNA Education Certificate and Final Report of Written and Clinical Competency Testing as required by NH Board of Nursing.
• Current NH LNA license and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs activities of daily living and personal care needs under RN guidance.
• Performs technical skills relating to physical, mental health and social needs under RN guidance.
• Documents care provided and reports observations to the RN.
• Adheres to safe patient handling policy.
• Demonstrates time management skills.
• Maintains patient care areas for cleanliness and safety.
• Receives delegated work adhering to the five rights of delegation.
• Performs job-specific duties and other tasks as assigned.
• Serves as a preceptor for new employees.
