Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• LNA education certificate and competency testing results as required by the NH Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Performs activities of daily living and personal care under the guidance of the Registered Nurse.
• Performs technical skills/procedures relating to physical, mental health and social needs under RN supervision.
• Documents care provided and reports to the RN on patient status.
• Demonstrates adherence to safe patient handling policy.
• Demonstrates time management skills.
• Maintains patient care areas for cleanliness, safety and supplies.
• Receives delegated work adhering to the five rights of delegation.
• Performs job-specific requirements and other duties as assigned.
• Serves as a preceptor for new employees.
