Job summary

Concord Hospital is seeking a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse in the unit.

The ideal candidate will hold a NH LNA license, have an LNA education certificate, BLS certification, and be committed to teamwork, accurate documentation, safety, and compassionate care.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED and the ability to perform ADLs, document observations, and participate as a preceptor for new staff.

Qualifications

• Proof of LNA Education Certificate and Final Report of Written and Clinical Competency Testing Results (NH Board of Nursing)
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification or equivalent
• Current NH LNA license must be held
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Commitment to safety and quality patient care

Responsibilities

• Performs activities of daily living and personal care needs under RN guidance
• Carries out technical skills related to patients' physical, mental health and social needs under RN supervision
• Documents care provided and reports patient observations to the RN
• Maintains safe patient handling and adheres to safety policies
• Manages time effectively and keeps care areas clean and stocked
• Receives delegated tasks following the five rights of delegation
• Performs duties as assigned and serves as a preceptor for new employees
