Job summary

Gail’s Homecare in Georgia seeks a compassionate Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide in-home non-medical care, assisting with hygiene and daily tasks in clients' homes. You will document progress to support overall wellbeing and communicate clearly with clients and families.

Required: CNA license and CPR/First Aid, HS diploma or GED, 1+ year healthcare experience, excellent English, and reliability. Shifts: 9–7 Mon–Fri, weekends; pay $15/hour.

Qualifications

• Current CPR/BLS and First Aid certification required
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of one year of full-time professional experience in a healthcare setting
• Significant experience in a home health care setting preferred
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and conversational skills
• Completion of at least eight hours of personal care-related training annually
• Participation in professional meetings and training sessions
• Ability to work under supervision and provide quality client care
• Experience in housekeeping or domestic work is a plus
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients with mobility
• Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
• Willingness to perform personal care and household tasks
• Dependable, punctual, and reliable
• Warm, compassionate, and caring personality
• Commitment to dignity and professionalism
• Ability to comply with agency policies and healthcare regulations
