Job summary

Trilogy Health Services is seeking a Cook to prepare and serve high-quality meals for residents in a long-term care setting. You will ensure food safety, follow menus and dietary guidelines, and support the Food Service Manager in daily operations.

You will also help with inventory, dining setup, and maintaining a clean, welcoming kitchen that creates a positive dining experience for residents and families. This role emphasizes teamwork and quality care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HSE preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years similar cooking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh scratch-made meals for residents per menus and dietary guidelines.
• Assist the Food Service Manager with inventory and ordering supplies.
• Store food and kitchen supplies to maintain freshness and prevent waste.
• Supervise and support Dietary staff when the Food Service Manager is unavailable.
• Set up breakfast bars, steam tables, and other meal service stations.
• Maintain cleanliness in work areas and complete kitchen cleaning tasks.
• Prepare and stock snacks and pantry items for resident areas.
• Utilize technology and computerized systems to efficiently and safely create a great dining experience for our residents and families.
