Job summary

Trilogy Health Services in Vincennes, IN is seeking a Cook to prepare and serve high-quality meals for residents, ensuring safety and sanitation standards are met and a positive dining experience is created.

You will support the Food Service Manager with inventory, stock snacks, and supervise dietary staff when Manager is unavailable, while using technology to deliver efficient service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HSE preferred.
• 1–2 years of similar cooking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh scratch-made meals using recipes for residents according to menus and dietary guidelines.
• Assist the Food Service Manager with inventory control and ordering supplies.
• Properly store food and kitchen supplies to maintain freshness and prevent waste.
• Supervise and support Dietary staff when the Food Service Manager is unavailable.
• Set up breakfast bars, steam tables, and other meal service stations.
• Maintain cleanliness in work areas and ensure kitchen tasks are completed.
• Prepare and stock snacks and standard pantry items for resident areas.
• Utilize technology and computerized systems to create a great dining experience for residents and families.
