Job summary

Angels Care Home Health is seeking a Home Health Aide to provide personal healthcare and related services in the client's residence in Grand Island, Nebraska. You will assist in creating a safe and clean home environment and work closely with patients, families, and supervising nurses to report observations and document care performed.

The ideal candidate is 18+, with a high school diploma preferred, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

Meets state training requirements.
At least 18 years old.
High School Diploma preferred.
Must have current driver’s license.
Reliable transportation with auto liability insurance.
1+ year experience as HHA or CNA or completion of CNA/CHHA program.
Must read and write English and follow written/verbal instructions in English.
Aide Competency Evaluation Skills Checklist and written Skills Test.
Ability to read, write, and document care.
Self-directed with minimal supervision.
Provides a calm manner in a patient’s home.

Responsibilities
