Angels Care Home Health is seeking a Home Health Aide to provide personal healthcare and related services in the client's residence in Grand Island, Nebraska. You will assist in creating a safe and clean home environment and work closely with patients, families, and supervising nurses to report observations and document care performed.

The ideal candidate is 18+, with a high school diploma preferred, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

  • Meets state training requirements.
  • At least 18 years old.
  • High School Diploma preferred.
  • Must have current driver’s license.
  • Reliable transportation with auto liability insurance.
  • 1+ year experience as HHA or CNA or completion of CNA/CHHA program.
  • Must read and write English and follow written/verbal instructions in English.
  • Aide Competency Evaluation Skills Checklist and written Skills Test.
  • Ability to read, write, and document care.
  • Self-directed with minimal supervision.
  • Provides a calm manner in a patient’s home.
