Job summary

Herewith is seeking compassionate In-Home Staff Assist - Care Partner to support dialysis patients in their own homes. You will help with setup, safety, and overall wellbeing during treatment, ensuring comfort and companionship.

You will work with a clinical team, receive training and placement assistance, and enjoy consistent weekly hours at $25/hour, with independent work but strong team support to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Prior experience supporting dialysis patients (home or clinical).
• Familiarity with home dialysis machines (preferred).
• Must pass background check and vetting via Herewith.

Responsibilities

• Conduct & Support patient setup for dialysis treatments (e.g., NxStage, Tablo or equivalent machines)
• Provide companionship, emotional reassurance, and schedule adherence
• Monitor safety and assist with light activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Maintain communication with clinic nurses and care coordinators
• Document any concerns or changes observed during support hours
