Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare Central IL is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one in-home care across day, evening, and overnight shifts. You’ll choose hours that fit your availability and work with a supportive team to deliver safe, reliable care at clients’ homes.

Responsibilities include companionship, personal care, mobility assistance, light housekeeping, meal support, and medication reminders. Training, ongoing mentorship, and 24/7 support accompany competitive, skill-based pay.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must have a reliable vehicle.
• Must maintain current automobile insurance.
• Must complete all required Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) background check requirements.
• Must be able to work independently and follow established care plans and instructions.
• Must demonstrate strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Must be able to accurately document services provided, observations, and other required information.
• Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds and safely perform the physical responsibilities associated with caregiving duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care and support to clients in their homes.
• Follow the client’s care plan and communicate concerns to the office.
• Manage daily tasks such as companionship, personal care, mobility support, and meals.
• Perform light housekeeping and medication reminders.
• Observe and report changes in client condition, ensuring client safety and comfort.
• Arrive on time and complete assigned responsibilities for the scheduled shift.
