Job summary

Altra Homecare Group is seeking compassionate In-Home Caregivers, PCA/HHA/CNA or related roles for private home care. The team delivers personal care tailored to client needs, in-home settings across Knox, IN.

You’ll perform basic caregiving tasks, maintain records, and follow care protocols with support from a supervising team. This role requires being 18+, having a valid driver’s license and auto insurance, and complying with state/federal training requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided
• Comply with training requirements as per State and Federal laws

Responsibilities

• Assist with client laundry as needed
• Provide medication reminders
• Ensure client safety
• Report significant changes to supervisor
• Prepare light meals and assist with feeding
• Monitor and record client temperature
• Assist with ambulation
• Conduct range of motion exercises and light activities
• Maintain documentation and adhere to care protocols
• Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines
• Offer bathing assistance
• Perform light housekeeping
• Provide companion services such as letter-writing and reading
