Home Matters Caregiving - Greater Boston North / West is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants to support clients in the Greater Boston West area. You will assist with daily activities, meal prep, medication reminders, and mobility support while providing companionship and dementia-focused care as needed.

Flexible scheduling and opportunities for training are offered, with emphasis on high-quality in-home care and client well-being.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in home care or as a Personal Care Assistant.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Dementia care training or experience is desirable.
• A valid driver's license may be required depending on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
• Medication reminders and documentation
• Support clients with mobility and physical exercises as needed.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations or activities.
• Assist with dementia care, providing specialized support for individuals with cognitive impairments.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and family members regarding client needs and progress.
