Job summary

Bay Aging is seeking dedicated Personal Care Aides to deliver in-home care, follow care plans and support clients so they can live safely in the community. You will assist with ADLs, monitor health, perform light housekeeping and document daily activities in collaboration with the RN Supervisor.

Responsibilities include training new PCAs, accompanying clients to appointments, and maintaining confidentiality while providing compassionate, reliable care in clients' homes.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age and hold a PCA certificate.
• Proof of current PPD vaccination or TB screening required.
• CPR certification must be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADL) and instrumental ADL in clients' homes.
• Provide personal care, health monitoring and light housekeeping as per care plan.
• Document services and report changes to RN Supervisor; coach new PCAs.
• Run local errands and accompany clients to appointments when assigned.
• Complete required on-the-job training and maintain patient confidentiality.
