Job summary

Assisted Living Services, Inc., a family owned Home Care Agency since 1996, is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to care for clients in home settings. This full-time role requires availability Sunday-Wednesday or Thursday-Saturday, with shifts from 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, 8am-8pm, or 8pm-8am.

As a PCA you will assist with ADLs, provide companionship, support mobility, remind about medications, and document client progress.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in home care or healthcare.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and car insurance required.
• Willingness to comply with legal and institutional guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic domestic services (meals, laundry, light housekeeping).
• Provide companionship and engage in conversation with client.
• Assist with mobility, getting in/out of bed and wheelchair.
• Remind client to take medications.
• Help with personal hygiene (teeth brushing, toileting, bathing).
• Change bed linens regularly.
• Support daily activities based on client needs.
• Provide a caring presence and document client progress.
