Responsibilities

• Move patients, beds, stretchers and equipment safely within the hospital.
• Register and complete transport requests in the system.
• Assist with positioning patients for procedures and lifts.
• Transport bodies to the morgue and escort funeral directors as needed.
• Clean equipment and report broken items for repair.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families and healthcare team.
