Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to communicate with patients, staff, and coworkers.
• Preferred: BLS, CPI; CNA preferred.
• One year of patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competency in the physical care of the patient according to unit standards.
• Pre- and post-op/ procedure care.
• Post-mortem care and patient safety tasks.
• Assist in ambulation and transfers and document observations.
• Perform glucose monitoring and vital signs with accurate charting.
• Adhere to infection control and equipment handling procedures.
• Support admission, discharge or transfer processes.
