Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring Patient Dining Associates (Dietary Aide) for Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, FL. Full-time and part-time shifts, with open availability and rotating weekends. Prior healthcare food service experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret English documents.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills required.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections and coordinate with nursing for nutritional requirements.
• Collaborate with caregivers and culinary team on menu alternatives for allergies, religious or cultural preferences.
• Assemble meals from patient menu selections and retrieve trays on schedule.
• Comply with federal, state, and JCAHO standards; uphold HIPAA policies and patient rights.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when handling food and maintaining clean work stations.
