Job summary

Ogden Regional Medical Center in Ogden, UT is seeking an EVS Associate PRN to maintain patient rooms, waiting areas and other spaces, ensuring a clean and safe environment across the hospital. You will join a unified team and contribute to high-quality patient care in a busy healthcare setting.

Prior housekeeping experience is preferred but not required; English proficiency and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or custodial experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of cleaning supplies and tools preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned patient rooms, waiting areas, restrooms, offices, stairways, elevators and other areas with housekeeping services.
• Ensure optimum sanitation and a clean environment throughout the hospital.
• Follow all established safety policies when handling chemicals and/or cleaning.
• Use appropriate safety equipment when handling hazardous waste and cleaners.
• Follow a daily cleaning schedule and participate in performance improvement activities.
• Contribute to customer service by providing courteous and caring service.
