Job summary

Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center is seeking a Housekeeping Associate PRN to maintain patient areas, restrooms, and common spaces with attention to sanitation and a clean hospital environment.

You will follow daily cleaning schedules, perform specialized cleaning tasks, and participate in team meetings and improvement initiatives to deliver courteous, caring service to patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Housekeeping or custodial experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of cleaning supplies and tools preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned patient rooms, waiting areas, restrooms, offices, and other areas by providing housekeeping services.
• Ensure optimum sanitation and a clean environment throughout the hospital.
• Utilize aseptic techniques by performing specialized cleaning processes, using a variety of cleaning devices.
• Follow a daily cleaning schedule according to area needs.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
• Participate in staff meetings and performance improvement activities; ensure customers are given courteous and caring service.
