Job summary

Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an EVS Associate for a Part Time role to maintain patient rooms, waiting areas, and other hospital spaces with a focus on cleanliness and safety.

You will follow a daily cleaning schedule, participate in staff meetings, and contribute to performance improvement initiatives while delivering courteous, compassionate service to patients and families.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Previous housekeeping or custodial experience is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of cleaning supplies and tools preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned patient rooms, waiting areas, restrooms, offices, and other areas by providing housekeeping services.
• Ensure optimum sanitation and a clean environment throughout the hospital.
• Utilize aseptic techniques by performing specialized cleaning processes, using a variety of cleaning devices.
• Follow a daily cleaning schedule according to area needs.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
• Participate in staff meetings and actively participate in performance improvement activities.
