Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work required and 1 year experience in a healthcare setting.
• Enrollment in Florida’s LCSW intern program preferred; valid Florida Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct social services and counseling to patients and families related to anxieties and stress from life-threatening illness.
• Demonstrate client-centered practice, crisis intervention, and culturally sensitive care.
• Assess psychosocial needs and develop patient-centered care plans with the team.
• Attend weekly interdisciplinary team meetings and document in EMR according to policy.
• Be available for on-call coverage and support for families as needed.

Education
