Job summary

Interim HealthCare Hospice in Wisconsin is seeking a dedicated Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to cover West Waupaca and Stevens Point territory, providing comfort and guidance to patients and families at life’s final chapter.

You’ll join an interdisciplinary team, perform patient assessments, manage vitals and medications, educate families, and advocate for quality of life with a home-based care approach. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and active RN license in Wisconsin.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, ideally in hospice or home healthcare.
• CPR certification and knowledge of home health regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide home-based care to patients with six months or less to live, focused on quality of life.
• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to carry out the patient’s plan of care.
• Perform patient assessments, check vitals, evaluate breathing, monitor pain, administer medications and treatments.
• Educate family on prognosis, changes in care plan, medication and hospice goals.
• Take a holistic approach to care that engages mind, body and family.
