Job summary

Bristol Hospice is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) in Heber City, UT for PRN coverage. The role focuses on comprehensive patient and family assessments, pain and symptom management, and coordination with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality hospice care.

The position requires current RN licensure in Utah, one year of acute care and preferred home care experience, and willingness to travel across the Bristol Hospice service area. Flexible PRN schedule offered.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one year of acute care experience in an institutional setting.
• One year of experience in home care preferred.
• Current licensure in the state required.
• Understanding hospice philosophy and needs of terminally ill patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing comprehensive patient/family assessments to determine hospice needs.
• Provide complete physical assessments and histories of illness.
• Deliver professional nursing care following the nursing process.
