Job summary

St. Croix Hospice is seeking a Massage Therapist to provide individualized massage therapy in home settings under the supervision of the Clinical Services team.

You will assess patients, implement therapy plans, and document progress while supporting the patient’s comfort and dignity. The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care with HIPAA compliance and collaboration with RN Case Managers and the clinical team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Massage Therapy program.
• Ability to pass background, consumer report and drug test.
• Valid State Driver’s License, access to an automobile in good working order, automobile insurance in accordance with state and organizational requirements, and an acceptable driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct massage therapy at the direction of supervisor in accordance with the plan of care.
• Assesses patient and referral for appropriate medical indication and measures effectiveness of therapy.
• Aids patients through massage interventions to relieve anxiety, pain, and mobility issues.
• Utilizes Swedish Massage, Comfort Touch, Energy work, and compressions.
• Maintains clinical records and notes within 24–48 hours of sessions.
• Participates in interdisciplinary education and quality improvement activities.
