Affinis Hospice in Georgia is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide personal care to hospice patients under physician guidance, adhering to Georgia regulations and hospice policies. This role focuses on comfort, dignity, and compassionate support.

You will work with a dedicated interdisciplinary team, assist with daily living tasks, monitor patient conditions, document care, and participate in education to meet annual requirements.

Qualifikationen

• Completion of state recognized and federally compliant CNA training program.
• At least six months experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Aufgaben

• Provides emotional and physical support to terminally ill individuals and their families/significant others.
• Assists in improving the terminally ill individual’s quality of life during the final stage of life.
• Maintains and promotes the independence of the patient and family and assists in maintaining a safe, healthful environment.
• Assists with personal care activities including baths, mouth care, denture care, skin care, grooming, transferring, dressing and ambulation.
• Assists with household tasks directly essential to the patient’s health, including planning and preparing meals and light housekeeping.
• Accurately documents services provided in accordance with Hospice policies and procedures on the day services are rendered.
