Job summary

Affinis Hospice in Georgia is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate personal care to hospice patients. You will support comfort, dignity, and independence, under the supervision of a registered nurse and in accordance with state and federal regulations.

The role involves hands-on care, including bathing, grooming, feeding, and safety measures, with responsibilities to document services and participate in care planning meetings.

Qualifications

• Completion of state recognized training program for Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• At least six months of CNA experience preferred.
• Must meet health clearance and references as required by Hospice services.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services to hospice patients as prescribed by the physician.
• Assist patients with bathing, grooming, feeding, and daily activities.
• Support safety and comfort, and promote independence where possible.
• Document care provided and report changes to care team.
• Participate in interdisciplinary group meetings as appropriate.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the patient’s environment.
