Job summary

Columbus Hospice of Georgia & Alabama is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate personal care and support under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant certificate from college, technical school or equivalent training program.
• Minimum one year recent experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
• CPR certification required.
• Influenza vaccine during influenza season (Oct–Mar).
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory MVR (driving history).
• Car insurance per Columbus Hospice policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care for patients to increase comfort and maintain hygiene.
• Work under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse and report changes in patient condition.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional conduct at all times.
• Keep patient charts and records accurate and up to date.
• Attend hospice training and comply with organizational policies.
