Job summary

New Age Hospice seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Hospice Aide to deliver personal healthcare services to patients in their homes within the El Paso area, under the supervision of a registered nurse.

You will help maintain a safe, clean environment, support patient comfort, and coordinate with families and other care team members. Education includes a high school diploma and CNA program; at least one year of hospice or nursing assistant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma preferred; completion of an approved CNA or nurse aide program is required or preferred.
• Experience: At least 1 year as Hospice Aide or Nursing Assistant in healthcare settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote hospice philosophy and provide direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and daily活动 activities.
• Document changes and care provided; report observations to the RN.
• Maintain infection control, safety, and a clean home environment.
• Communicate with patients, family, and care team professionally.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
