Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of Nursing Assistant course and state certification.
• One year of related experience preferred.
• Driver’s license and auto liability insurance may be required.
• Active nurse aide registry status as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Provide mobility assistance and support with transfers and positioning.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with basic procedures under supervision and collect specimens as directed.
• Document care and maintain patient records accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe patient environment and proper equipment care.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and implement care plans.
• Adhere to confidentiality and agency policies; participate in training.
