Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to assist with personal care for hospice patients at home. You will support bathing, grooming and daily routines while ensuring comfort and safety for patients.

You will work under the supervision of RNs, coordinating with families and documenting patient needs and progression to maintain high quality care standards.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid state driver license.
• Must maintain automobile liability insurance as required by law.
• Must maintain dependable transportation in good working condition.
• Must be able to safely drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions.
• Must complete training, competency evaluation in compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Must possess CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing and grooming in a home setting.
• Support families by instructing on basic health-care routines for hospice patients.
• Coordinate with supervising nurses to report patient progression and family needs.
