Job summary

UnitedHealth Group in Massachusetts is seeking a per diem CNA Hospice Aide to provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients at home and support families during end-of-life care. You will assist with daily living activities, promote comfort and dignity, and work with the hospice care team to ensure care aligns with the plan.

Required qualifications include a valid CNA certification, CPR, and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification and current state registration.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care services to patients.
• Assists with activities of daily living and promotes comfort and dignity.
• Plans and assists with meals and feeding as assigned.
• Performs homemaking and environmental tasks as needed.
• Observes changes in patient status and reports to the nurse.
• Follows written care instructions and participates in prescribed exercises.
