Job summary

Bristol Hospice is seeking a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) in Oakdale, MN. The role involves providing compassionate personal care under RN supervision and supporting comfort and dignity for patients and families.

The ideal candidate is a CNA with at least 1 year of hospice or related experience, CPR certification, and a valid driver's license. Expect day shifts, full-time hours, and competitive hourly pay. We value integrity, respect, and excellence in care.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant.
• Minimum 1 year experience in community health/hospice or medical/surgical environments.
• Must have completed a minimum of 75 hours of classroom and supervised practical training.
• Licensed driver with automobile that is insured and in good working order.
• Willingness to submit to a criminal background check prior to hire and annually thereafter.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care needs and assist with daily living activities.
• Provide patient and family communication with empathy and respect, maintaining confidentiality.
• Meet safety needs and use equipment safely (foot stools, side rails, O2, etc.).
• Assist with meals, mobility, and basic care as assigned by the Case Manager.
• Maintain patient living area clean and orderly and document care according to procedures.
