Job summary

St. Croix Hospice is seeking a dedicated Hospice Aide (CNA) to provide compassionate, one‑to‑one care for patients in their homes. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will assist with daily living activities, document care details, and ensure comfort and dignity at the end of life.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of practice.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and auto insurance.
• Provide personal care including bathing, skin/nail care, oral hygiene, dressing/undressing.
• Record vital signs and report observations to the care team.
• Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding as needed.
• Promote patient comfort, dignity, and safety.
• Travel to patient homes throughout the day and provide care as scheduled.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, hands‑on care to patients in their homes.
• Support patients with activities of daily living under RN supervision.
• Record and communicate vital signs and care observations.
• Assist with meals and patient comfort needs as required.
