Job summary

St. Croix Hospice seeks a compassionate Hospice Aide (CNA) to support patients and families in their homes. Under RN supervision, you’ll assist with personal care, daily activities, and comfort measures to enhance quality of life.

The role involves 1:1 patient care, accurate documentation of services, and travel throughout Nebraska to visit patients on schedule. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of practice.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Record vital signs and report observations to the care team.
• Experience in home-based hospice or personal care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Record vital signs and report observations to the care team.
• Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding as needed.
• Travel to patient homes and deliver in-home hospice care as scheduled.
• Promote patient comfort, dignity, and safety at end of life.
