Job summary
St. Croix Hospice is seeking a dedicated Hospice Aide (CNA) to deliver compassionate, hands-on care to patients in their homes under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will support daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and help ensure comfort and dignity at the end of life.
The role requires current CNA certification, a valid driver’s license, and reliable auto insurance. Full-time with rotational weekends, competitive benefits, and opportunities for professional development are
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification in the state of practice.
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and auto insurance.
- Provide personal care including bathing, skin/nail care, oral hygiene, dressing/undressing.
- Record vital signs and report observations to the care team.
- Promote patient comfort, dignity, and safety.
Responsibilities
- Deliver hands-on care to patients in their homes.
- Assist with bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, and daily living activities.
- Record and report vital signs; communicate changes to the care team.
- Assist with meals, mobility, and safety measures as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
