Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice seeks a chaplain to provide spiritual care to patients and families, coordinating the spiritual services program and supporting the bereavement program within the care team.

The role requires ordination or ecclesiastical endorsement, experience with life-threatening illness and death, plus basic technology skills. Training in clinical pastoral education is preferred and helps grow within the Enhabit system.

Qualifications

• Must be ordained or ecclesiastically endorsed to function in pastoral capacity.
• Experience working with patients and families dealing with life-threatening illness and death.
• Basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.

Responsibilities

• Implement and coordinate all activities of the spiritual services program and the delivery of spiritual services to patients and their families.
• Provide support to the bereavement program in alignment with Enhabit policies and procedures.
