Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a Hospice Nursing Aide to assist with personal care, bathing, and hygiene routines for hospice patients in a home-based setting. The role includes supporting families and coordinating with supervising nurses to ensure patient comfort and progress.

The ideal candidate will have 1 year of direct client care experience (in a hospital, nursing facility, home health or hospice) and be registered on the state nurse aide registry.

Qualifications

• Must meet one of the following requirements. 1) have a minimum of one year full time experience in direct client care in an institutional setting (hospital or nursing facility); 2) have one year experience within the last five years in direct client care in a home health or hospice setting.
• Must be registered and listed in good standing on the nurse aide registry in the state of employment.
• Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care tasks including bathing, changing bedding and clothing, and hygiene routines.
• Coordinate with supervising RNs and inform families about patient progress and needs.
