Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a Hospice Nursing Aide to assist patients with daily personal care, hygiene, and comfort in a home health setting. You will support families and work under the supervision of registered nurses to ensure compassionate, high-quality care in the patient’s home.

Must have at least one year of direct patient care experience, be registered on the nurse aide registry in the state of employment, and demonstrate basic technology skills (mobile devices).

Qualifications

• Must meet one of the following: 1) have a minimum of one year full time experience in direct client care in an institutional setting; 2) have one year experience within the last five years in direct client care in a home health or hospice setting.
• Must be registered and listed in good standing on the nurse aide registry in the state of employment.
• Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care including bathing, dressing, and grooming, and help with hygienic routines such as brushing teeth and wound care.
• Coordinate with supervising RNs and keep families informed about patient progression and needs.
