Job summary

Hospice of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI, is seeking a compassionate Hospice Aide to deliver basic personal care and homemaking services under RN supervision. You will support patients daily at home and help maintain comfort and dignity.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification required.
• 1–2 years’ home health/hospice aide experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Ability to use technology required of clinicians.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic personal care and homemaking per RN plan of care.
• Assist with baths, grooming, oral hygiene, mobility, and transfers.
• Assist with meals and feeding per facility policies.
• Maintain a safe environment and observe infection control precautions.
• Document patient care according to organizational standards and communicate with the team.
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing in-service education.
