Job summary

Avanta Care Home Health is seeking a Hospice Aide to provide compassionate personal care and emotional support to our hospice patients at home. You will assist with activities of daily living, maintain a safe environment, and document patient changes under supervision.

Ideal candidates have state-approved training, current Georgia Nurse Aide Registry certification, and prior hospice/home care experience. A patient, dependable demeanor is essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Completion of a state-approved nurse aide or hospice aide training program.
• Current certification in good standing with the Georgia Nurse Aide Registry.
• Prior hospice or home care experience preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, and feeding.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.
• Record and report vital signs, intake/output, and changes in patient status.
• Offer companionship, listening ear, and emotional reassurance.
• Follow the care plan under supervision of RN Case Manager.
