Avanta Care Home Care - Atlanta is seeking a Hospice Aide to deliver personal care and emotional support to hospice patients in line with comfort-focused principles. You will assist with daily living activities and maintain safe, respectful environments.

Responsibilities include documenting vitals, reporting changes to the RN Case Manager, and offering companionship. Prior hospice or home care experience is preferred, with state-approved training and GA Registry certification required.

Formación

• Completion of a state-approved nurse aide or hospice aide training program.
• Current certification in good standing with the Georgia Nurse Aide Registry.
• Prior hospice or home care experience preferred.

Hospice Aide

• Provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, and feeding.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.
• Record and report vital signs, intake/output, and changes in patient status.
• Offer companionship, listening ear, and emotional reassurance.
• Follow the care plan under supervision of RN Case Manager.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a state-approved nurse aide or hospice aide training program.
• Current certification in good standing with the Georgia Nurse Aide Registry.
• Prior hospice or home care experience preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable demeanor.
