Job summary

Care Initiatives Hospice is hiring a compassionate Hospice Aide to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in home, long-term care, assisted living, or hospital settings. You will meet patients and families where they are, delivering care with dignity and respect during life’s final stages.

The role emphasizes collaboration with families and the healthcare team to address physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, supporting comfort and quality of life across settings.

Qualifications

• Experience as Hospice Aide, Home Health Aide, or CNA in the last 24 months preferred.
• Hospice or palliative care experience preferred.
• Active CPR certification required.
• Current driver’s license and ability to travel between locations within region.

Responsibilities

• Support daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating).
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents and families.
• Interact with residents, families, and healthcare team.
• Encourage recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance health and routine.
• Follow infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment.
