Job summary

CareFor in Austin, TX is hiring dedicated Hospice Aides (CNAs) to provide compassionate, end-of-life care in clients' homes in the North Austin area.

The full-time position offers about 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with benefits and PTO per company policy. You will report to the Hospice Director of Clinical Services and travel daily to client homes.

Required qualifications include at least 18 years old, a valid CNA license, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• 1+ year of professional caregiving experience (hospice experience preferred).
• Active CNA license (maintained throughout employment).
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, mobility, toileting, and feeding.
• Provide comfort-focused, non-medical support aligned with hospice care goals.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.
• Maintain a clean, calm, and safe home environment.
• Collaborate closely with nurses, families, and the CareFor interdisciplinary team.
• Respect client dignity and wishes at all stages of care.
