AccentCare, Inc. is seeking a Hospice Aide / CNA to join our Sussex County service area in a full-time, on-site role. The schedule is Monday–Friday days, with opportunities for flexibility to support patient care.

You will provide compassionate, hands-on care, assist with daily activities, and maintain high standards of infection control and safety in home or facility settings. Benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Certified by the state as a nurse’s aide; completion of required training and passing score on competency exam.
• CPR certification required for direct patient care in specified states.
• Must be listed on the state aide registry with a clear record.
• Requires a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and state-required auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands‑on care to hospice patients, including assistance with personal hygiene, repositioning, and mobility support (up to 200 lbs with assistance).
• Support patients in homes or care facilities through movement and physical activity to ensure timely, dignified end‑of‑life care.
• Monitor comfort levels, respond to needs, and assist with daily living activities while maintaining safety and dignity.
• Uphold infection control and safety protocols in both home and facility environments.
