Job summary

Guardian Angel Hospice in Indiana is seeking a dedicated Hospice Aide to join our compassionate care team. You will provide direct patient care under the supervision of the RN Case Manager and assist with daily living activities to ensure comfort aligned with each patient’s Plan of Care.

Qualifications

• Current CNA or HHA certification in Indiana.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Flexibility to participate in on-call rotation.
• Physical ability to perform job duties.
• Strong time management and independent worker.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision, including bathing, grooming, and personal needs.
• Assist with activities of daily living to promote dignity, comfort, and safety.
• Report observations and changes to the RN Case Manager and team.
• Respect professional boundaries while delivering home and facility care.
• Assist with transfers and mobility using hoyer lifts, gait belts, wheelchairs, walkers, canes, and crutches.
• Offer emotional support to patients and caregivers.
