Job summary

PURE HANDS HOME CARE LLC in Indiana is seeking a Home Care Aide to provide one-on-one care in patients' homes. You will follow individualized care plans, build relationships, and support health and comfort for clients.

Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, and prior home health or hospice experience is a plus. Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, personal care, documentation, and engaging clients with activities to promote mental alertness.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Home Health Aide program.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• One year prior professional experience.
• Driver’s license required.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as transferring in and out of beds and wheelchairs.
• Provide personal care, light housekeeping, and laundry as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of patient care and report any concerns to the supervisor.
• Engage with patients through conversation or reading to support mental well-being.
• Administer medications and immunizations as directed by a supervisor.
• Encourage patient participation in exercises and activities for health maintenance.
