Job summary

CorsoCare Hospice in Hudson, OH is seeking a dedicated Hospice Aide to join our health services team. The Aide provides personal care to assigned patients in the home under RN/Case Manager supervision, delivering compassionate support and maintaining patient comfort.

Ideal candidates are STNA-certified in Ohio with at least 1 year of hospice/home care experience, strong communication skills, and reliable transportation. CPR is preferred but not required; driving is required for patient visits.

Qualifications

• Certified STNA in Ohio.
• Minimum 1 year hospice/home care experience.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to meet physical demands and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ambulation and safe transfers.
• Provide personal care and help with nourishment and fluids.
• Read and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration).
• Maintain infection control and adhere to care plan.
• Offer emotional support to patient and family.
