Job summary

CorsoCare Hospice in Ohio is seeking a Hospice Aide to join the health services team. The Home Health Aide is trained to provide personal care and related services in the home, under the supervision of the Staff Registered Nurse/Case Manager and Clinical Manager.

The Hospice Aide will be assigned to patients and must meet physical demands, have a valid driver’s license with insurance, and demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Certified STNA in Ohio with hospice experience preferred.
• At least 1 year of hospice aide experience in health care or home care.
• CPR certification preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with ambulation and daily activities as per plan.
• Provide emotional support and compassionate care to patients and families.
• Follow care plans and report changes to supervisors.
• Maintain infection control and safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with the health services team.
